     Frederick John Christian was born on 31 December 1906 at Bron Dirion, Caernarvonshire, Wales.2 He is the son of Lt.-Col. William Francis Christian and Marguerite Annie Hornby.1 He married Joan Mary Woodward, daughter of Sidney Adolphous Woodward, on 29 May 1948.1
     Frederick John Christian was educated at Trent College, England.1 He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1943, in the Royal Army Service Corps, and was wounded in North Africa.1 He lived in 1969 at Eversleigh, Hornash Lane, Shadoxhurst, Ashford, Kent, England.1
