     George Augustus Campbell was the son of Robert Campbell, 10th of Skipness and Eugenia Josephine Wynne.1 He married Lady Sarah Eliza Lyon-Bowes, daughter of Thomas Lyon-Bowes, 11th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne and Eliza Northcote, on 2 November 1834.1 He died on 7 November 1841, without issue.1
     He was with the Honourable East India Company Service.1

     Maj.-Gen. Charles Philip de Ainslie was born on 18 March 1808 at Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Northumberland, England.1 He was the son of Colonel Charles Philip Ainslie and Mary Ann Atkinson.1 He was baptised on 12 April 1808 at St. Andrews, Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland, England.1 He married, firstly, Jane Anne Gray, daughter of Francis Gray, 14th Lord Gray and Mary Anne Johnston, on 17 April 1834 at Kinfauns, Perthshire, Scotland.2,1 He and Jane Anne Gray were divorced in 1843.1 He married, secondly, Lady Sarah Eliza Lyon-Bowes, daughter of Thomas Lyon-Bowes, 11th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne and Eliza Northcote, on 13 July 1843 at Malta.1 He died on 23 March 1889 at age 81 at London, England, without issue.1
     He was given the name of Charles Philip Ainslie at birth.1 He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1825.1 He gained the rank of Captain in 1830.1 He gained the rank of Major in 1842 in the 14th Light Dragoons.3 He wrote the book The Cavalry Manual, published 1843.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1847.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in 1857.1 He gained the rank of Major-General in 1862.1 He wrote the book Sketches Here and There, published 1877.1 In 1879 his name was legally changed to Charles Philip de Ainslie by Deed Poll.1 He wrote the book Life As I Have Found It, published 1883.1 He wrote the book Historical Record of the First, or Royal Regiment of Dragoons, published 1887.1

Francis Bowes-Lyon and Lady Anne Catherine Sybil Lindsay.2 He married Edith Katherine Selby-Bigge, daughter of Sir Lewis Amhurst Selby-Bigge, 1st Bt., on 31 October 1914.2 He died on 30 August 1951 at age 64.2
