     Lucy Elizabeth Smith was born on 31 October 1865 at Highbury Crescent, Middlesex, England.1 She was the daughter of Benjamin Smith and Elizabeth Ann Rayden.1 She married William Rayden, son of William Markett Rayden, on 30 October 1890 at St. John's, St. Leonard's-on-Sea, Sussex, England.1 She died on 17 June 1935 at age 69 at Bromley, Kent, England.1
     From 30 October 1890, her married name became Rayden.1

     William Rayden was born circa 1861 at Prince Edward Island, Canada.1 He was the son of William Markett Rayden.1 He married Lucy Elizabeth Smith, daughter of Benjamin Smith and Elizabeth Ann Rayden, on 30 October 1890 at St. John's, St. Leonard's-on-Sea, Sussex, England.1 He died on 9 November 1949 at Argyle Road, Campden Hill, Middlesex, England.1
     William Rayden was admitted to Inner Temple in 1895 entitled to practice as a Barrister-at-Law.1

     Apprenticed to his grandfather, Thomas Wontner; Later became head of Thomas Wontner Smith & Son of Islington, builders and contractors; Freeman of the City of London and Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Feltmakers, 1829.1
