Susanna Style was the daughter of Sir Thomas Style, 1st Bt.1 She married Sir John Reade, 1st Bt. on 2 January 1640. She died circa May 1657.1

James Stewart, 2nd Earl of Galloway was born circa 1610.1 He was the son of Alexander Stewart, 1st Earl of Galloway and Grizel Gordon.1 He married Nicola Grierson, daughter of Sir Robert Grierson of Lag and Margaret Murray, in 1642.2 He died in June 1671.1
James Stewart, 2nd Earl of Galloway was created 1st Baronet Stewart, of Corsewell [Nova Scotia] on 18 April 1627.2 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Earl of Galloway [S., 1623] in 1649.2 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Lord Garlies [S., 1607] in 1649.2 In 1654 he was fined £4,000 as a Royalist.2
