Susanna Grainger was the daughter of John Meares Grainger.1 She married, firstly, Pierce Arthur before 1818.1 A settlement for the marriage between her and John Galwey was made on 12 June 1818.1 She died in 1836.1

Edward Galwey was born on 25 February 1804.1 He was the son of William Galwey and Ann Norcott.1 He married, secondly, Sophia Stewart, daughter of Reverend Hugh Stewart.1 He married, firstly, Cornelia Matilda St. Leger, daughter of Heyward St. Leger and Matilda Rogers, on 27 November 1833.1 He died on 12 November 1873 at age 69.1
