     He was Aide-de-Camp to the Viceroy of India in 1937.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Rifle Brigade.1

Nigel Campbell was born on 18 November 1873.1 He was the son of Frederick Archibald Vaughan Campbell of Cawdor, 3rd Earl Cawdor of Castlemartin and Edith Georgiana Turnor.2 He married Violet Kerr, daughter of Charles Wyndham Rodolph Kerr and Anna Maria Olivia Elliot, on 30 April 1902.1 He died on 20 July 1951 at age 77.1

William Edwardes, 4th Baron Kensington1

     William Edwardes, 4th Baron Kensington was born on 11 May 1835.1 He was the son of Captain William Edwardes, 3rd Baron Kensington and Laura Jane Ellison.1 He married Grace Elizabeth Johnstone-Douglas, daughter of Robert Johnstone-Douglas of Lockerbie and Lady Jane Margaret Mary Douglas, on 19 September 1867.1 He died on 7 October 1896 at age 61.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel between 1867 and 1870 in the Coldstream Guards.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for Haverfordswest between 1868 and 1885.1 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Pembrokeshire between 1872 and 1896.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baron Kensington [I., 1776] on 1 January 1872.1 He held the office of Groom-in-Waiting to HM Queen Victoria between 1873 and 1874.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1880.1 He held the office of Comptroller of the Household between 1880 and 1885.1 He held the office of Lord-in-Waiting between February 1886 and July 1886.1 He was created 1st Baron Kensington of Kensington, co.
