     Brigadier Bryan John Fowler was born on 18 August 1898.2 He was the son of George Hurst Fowler and Mabel Blakiston-Houston.3 He married Mary Olivia Nickalls, daughter of Colonel Cecil Patteson Nickalls, on 26 May 1944.2 He died on 4 December 1987 at age 89.4
