Valentine Edward Charles Browne, 6th Earl of Kenmare was born on 29 May 1891.1 He was the son of Valentine Charles Browne, 5th Earl of Kenmare and Hon. Elizabeth Baring.1 He married, firstly, Doris de Lavigne, daughter of Edward de Lavigne, on 16 May 1928.1 He and Doris de Lavigne were divorced in 1938.1 He married, secondly, Enid Maude Lindeman, daughter of Charles Lindeman, on 26 January 1943.1 He died on 20 September 1943 at age 52, without issue.1
