     Valentine Edward Charles Browne, 6th Earl of Kenmare was born on 29 May 1891.2 He was the son of Valentine Charles Browne, 5th Earl of Kenmare and Hon. Elizabeth Baring.1 He married, firstly, Jessica Doris Delevingne, daughter of Edward Charles Delevingne and Jessie Marion Homan, on 16 May 1928.1 He and Jessica Doris Delevingne were divorced in 1938.1 He married, secondly, Enid Maude Lindeman, daughter of Charles Lindeman, on 26 January 1943.1 He died on 20 September 1943 at age 52, without issue.1
     He was educated at Downside School, Bath, Somerset, EnglandG.2 He was styled as Viscount Castlerosse between 1905 and 1941. He was educated at Royal Naval College, Osborne, Isle of Wight, EnglandG.2 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)3 He gained the rank of Captain in the Irish Guards.3 He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.3 Director of the Daily Express, Sunday Express and Evening Standard.2 He was best known for his column 'Londoner's Log' in Sunday Express.2 He succeeded as the 6th Baron Castlerosse [I., 1798] on 14 November 1941.3 He succeeded as the 6th Viscount Kenmare [I., 1798] on 14 November 1941.3 He succeeded as the 6th Viscount Castlerosse [I., 1801] on 14 November 1941.3 He succeeded as the 6th Earl of Kenmare [I., 1801] on 14 November 1941.3 He succeeded as the 12th Baronet Browne, of Mohaliffe, co. Kerry [I., 1622] on 14 November 1941.3 He succeeded as the 4th Baron Kenmare of Killarney, co. Kerry [U.K., 1856] on 14 November 1941.3 He lived at Killarney, County Kerry, Ireland.2 He was a famous journalist and gossip-writer (as Lord Castlerosse) for his friend and patron, Lord Beaverbrook's newspapers.2

     Jessica Doris Delevingne was baptised on 4 November 1900 at Christ Church, Streatham Hill, London, England.2 She was the daughter of Edward Charles Delevingne and Jessie Marion Homan.1,2 She married Valentine Edward Charles Browne, 6th Earl of Kenmare, son of Valentine Charles Browne, 5th Earl of Kenmare and Hon. Elizabeth Baring, on 16 May 1928.1 She and Valentine Edward Charles Browne, 6th Earl of Kenmare were divorced in 1938.1 She died on 12 December 1942 at age 42.1
     After her marriage, Jessica Doris Delevingne was styled as Viscountess Castlerosse on 16 May 1928. From 16 May 1928, her married name became Browne.1
