     William Burroughes was born in 1827.¹ He was the son of Henry Negus Burroughes and Jane Sarah Hoste.¹

     Captain Thomas Edward Hoste was baptised on 17 August 1794 at Tittleshall, Norfolk, England^G.¹ He was the son of Reverend Dixon Hoste and Margaret Stanforth.¹ He died in 1834.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal navy.¹

     Charles Fox Hoste was baptised on 2 April 1796 at Tittleshall, Norfolk, England^G.¹ He was the son of Reverend Dixon Hoste and Margaret Stanforth.¹

     Anne Hoste was born on 23 May 1798 at Godwick, Norfolk, England^G.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend Dixon Hoste and Margaret Stanforth.¹ She was baptised on 24 May 1798 at Tittleshall, Norfolk, England^G.¹ She married Derick Hoste, son of William Hoste and Ann Glover, on 30 October 1828 at Litcham, Norfolk, England^G.¹ She died on 8 April 1870 at age 71.¹

     William Hoste was the son of Theodore Hoste and Mary Dixon Helmore.¹ He married Ann Glover, daughter of Robert Glover and Ann Turner, on 31 December 1787 at South Creake, Norfolk, England^G.¹ He died on 17 September 1824.¹
     He lived at Stanhoe, Norfolk, England^G.¹

     Ann Glover was born on 31 March 1759 at South Creake, Norfolk, England^G.¹ She was the daughter of Robert Glover and Ann Turner.¹ She married William Hoste, son of Theodore Hoste and Mary Dixon Helmore, on 31 December 1787 at South Creake, Norfolk, England^G.¹ She died on 29 September 1835 at age 76.¹
     From 31 December 1787, her married name became Hoste.¹

     Caroline Hoste was born in 1800.¹ She was the daughter of William Hoste and Ann Glover.¹ She died on 10 February 1827.¹
