     Captain Peter George Alexander Borthwick was born on 27 May 1922.1 He was the son of Hon. James Alexander Borthwick and Irene Evangeline Wise.1 He died on 15 November 1944 at age 22, killed in action, in Western Europe.1

     William Jason Maxwell Borthwick usually went by his middle name of Jason.1 He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1933 entitled to practice as a Barrister-at-Law.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Commander in the service of the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve.1 He was decorated with the award of Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.).1
