Sir John Leman Rogers, 6th Bt. was born on 18 April 1780 at Plymouth, Devon, EnglandG.1 He was the son of Sir Frederick Rogers, 5th Bt. and Jane Lillicrap.1 He was baptised on 5 October 1780 at Cornwood, Devon, EnglandG.1 He died on 10 December 1847 at age 67, unmarried.1 He was buried at Cornwood, Devon, EnglandG.2 His will was proven (by probate) on 3 May 1848.2
He was educated in 1795 at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, EnglandG.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Rogers, of Wisdome, co. Devon [E., 1699] on 21 June 1797.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 2nd Dragoon Guards.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Callington between 1812 and 1813.2 His last will was dated 11 June 1821. He held the office of Sheriff of Devon in 1838.2 He lived at Blachford, Cornwood, Devon, EnglandG.1

Maj.-Gen. William Cooper Rogers was born after 1783. He was the son of Sir Frederick Rogers, 5th Bt. and Jane Lillicrap.1 He married Caroline Bridges, daughter of W. Bridges, on 31 March 1835.1 He died on 6 November 1857, without issue.1
