     John Ailwyn Fellowes, 4th Baron de Ramsey of Ramsey Abbey was born on 27 February 1942.² He is the son of Ailwyn Edward Fellowes, 3rd Baron de Ramsey of Ramsey Abbey and Lilah Helen Suzanne Labouchere.³ He married, firstly, Phyllida Mary Forsyth, daughter of Dr. Philip Athelstan Forsyth, on 7 July 1973.² He and Phyllida Mary Forsyth were divorced in 1983.² He married, secondly, Alison Mary Birkmyre, daughter of Sir Archibald Birkmyre, 3rd Bt. and Gillian Mary Downes, in 1984.¹
