     Gloria Taylor was the daughter of Thomas Taylor.1 She married Michael Birkett, 2nd Baron Birkett, son of William Norman Birkett, 1st Baron Birkett and Ruth Nilsson, in 1978.1 She died in February 2001.2
     As a result of her marriage, Gloria Taylor was styled as Baroness Birkett in 1978. From 1978, her married name became Birkett.1
