     Peter Stanley was the son of Sir Thomas Stanley, 2nd Bt. and Mary Egerton.1 He married Catherine Rigby, daughter of Colonel Alexander Rigby, on 19 April 1683.1 He died circa January 1686.1 He was buried on 27 January 1686.1

     Catherine Rigby is the daughter of Colonel Alexander Rigby.1 She married, firstly, Peter Stanley, son of Sir Thomas Stanley, 2nd Bt. and Mary Egerton, on 19 April 1683.1 She married, secondly, Paul Amyas after 1686.1
     Her married name became Stanley. From after 1686, her married name became Amyas.1
