     James Hamilton Bell was born on 25 May 1811.1 He was the son of George Bell and Isabella Ross.1 He married Mary Louisa Sewell, daughter of Colonel Frederick Sewell.1 He died on 25 August 1850 at age 39 at Guntur, India.1

     Colonel James Archibald Robert Bell was born on 9 March 1848 at Chitoor, Madras, India.1 He was the son of James Hamilton Bell and Mary Louisa Sewell.1 He married Amy Caroline Dunsterville, daughter of James Barnes Dunsterville, on 12 April 1880 at Mhow, India.1 He died on 22 March 1915 at age 67 at Bedfordshire, England.1
     Colonel James Archibald Robert Bell gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the East Yorkshire Regiment.1

     Amy Caroline Dunsterville was the daughter of James Barnes Dunsterville.1 She married Colonel James Archibald Robert Bell, son of James Hamilton Bell and Mary Louisa Sewell, on 12 April 1880 at Mhow, India.1 She died on 17 February 1919 at Bedfordshire, England.1
     From 12 April 1880, her married name became Bell.1

     James Dermot Knightley Bell was born on 5 February 1881 at Belgaum, Belgium.1 He was the son of Colonel James Archibald Robert Bell and Amy Caroline Dunsterville.1 He died on 30 May 1900 at age 19 at Natal, South Africa, from wounds received in action, unmarried.1
     James Dermot Knightley Bell gained the rank of Private in the service of the 19th Imperial Yeomanry.1 He fought in the Boer War.1

     George Cecil Bell was born on 8 March 1882 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1 He was the son of Colonel James Archibald Robert Bell and Amy Caroline Dunsterville.1 He married, firstly, Emily Adeline Grist, daughter of Samuel Grist, on 19 May 1906 at Hampstead, London, England.1 He married, secondly, Edith Florence Maney in June 1952 at Chichester, Sussex, England.1 He died on 2 July 1953 at age 71, without issue.1
     George Cecil Bell fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Durham Light Infantry.1
