     Gerald Augustus Robert FitzGerald was born on 22 September 1844 at Fledborough, Nottinghamshire, England.2 He was the son of Venerable Augustus Otway FitzGerald.2 He married Alice Caroline Frances Skrine, daughter of Henry Duncan Skrine and Susan Caroline Mills, on 2 October 1875 at St. Swithun's Church, Bathford, Somerset, England.2 He died in July 1925 at age 80 at 9 Park Town, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.2
     He was appointed King's Counsel (K.C.)1

     Morah Susan Stuart Baynes was the daughter of Reverend Malcolm Charles Baynes and Margaretha Cazenove.1 She married Major Ralph Beecroft Horsfield on 17 December 1914.1 She died on 13 December 1980.1
     From 17 December 1914, her married name became Horsfield.1

     Maj.-Gen. David Ralph Horsfield was born on 17 December 1916.1 He was the son of Major Ralph Beecroft Horsfield and Morah Susan Stuart Baynes.1 He married Sheelah Patricia Royal Eagan, daughter of Thomas George Royal Eagan, on 12 June 1948.1 He died on 7 December 2008 at age 91.2
     He was educated at Oundle School, Oundle, Northamptonshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, Kent, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Clare College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1962.1 He was Aide-de-Camp to H.M. Queen Elizabeth II between 1968 and 1969.1 He gained the rank of Major-General in 1969.1 He gained the rank of Brigadier in the Royal Signals.1 He was Colonel Commandant of the Royal Signals between 1972 and 1978.1 He lived in 2003 at Preybrook Farm, 3 Preywater Road, Wookey, Wells, Somerset, EnglandG.1
