John Lowther, 1st Viscount Lonsdale was the son of Colonel John Lowther and Elizabeth Bellingham. He married Katherine Thynne, daughter of Sir Henry Frederick Thynne, 1st Bt. and Hon. Mary Coventry, on 3 December 1674.

Banastre Maynard, 3rd Baron Maynard was born circa 1642. He was the son of William Maynard, 2nd Baron Maynard and Dorothy Banastre. He married Elizabeth Grey, daughter of Henry Grey, 10th Earl of Kent and Amabel Benn, on 9 November 1665. He died on 3 March 1717/18.
