     Major Hugh Richard Oliver-Bellasis was born on 11 April 1945.1 He is the son of Lt.-Col. John Oliver-Bellasis and Anne Mary Bates.1 He married Daphne Phoebe Parsons, daughter of Arthur Christopher Parsons and Veronica Rosetta de Courcy Glover, on 7 August 1971.1
     Major Hugh Richard Oliver-Bellasis was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.1 He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Fusiliers, City of London Regiment.1 He was admitted to Freeman of the City of London in 1967.1 He was admitted to Liveryman of the Merchant Taylors' and Gunmakers Comapnies.1 He was invested as a Fellow, Royal Agricultural Societies (F.R.Ag.S.).1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Welsh Guards.1 He lived in 2003 at Wootton House, Wootton St. Lawrence, Basingstoke, Hampshire, England.1
