     John Beatty Barrington was born on 18 July 1859.1 He was the son of Sir Croker Barrington, 4th Bt. and Anna Felicia West.1 He married Catherine Charlotte Bayly, daughter of John Bayly and Mary Anne Charlotte Barrington, on 2 August 1887.1 He died on 16 September 1926 at age 67.1
     John Beatty Barrington graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Tipperary.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Limerick.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the City of Limerick.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Limerick in 1912.1 He fought in the First World War between 1915 and 1919.1 He was decorated with the award of Croix de Guerre.1 He was decorated with the award of Legion of Honour.1
