Michael Kemp Bourne was born on 9 June 1937.2,3 He was the son of General Geoffrey Kemp Bourne, Baron Bourne and Agnes Evelyn Thompson.1,3 He married Penelope Jane Blyth, daughter of Hugh W. Blyth and Betty C. Johnson, on 7 May 1963.4,3 He and Penelope Jane Blyth were divorced in 1980.4 He married, secondly, Marian Lockhart Robinson, daughter of Major John Francis Leetham Robinson and Ann Lockhart Barran, in 1985.1 He died on 24 August 2013 at age 76.2
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.3

     General Geoffrey Kemp Bourne, Baron Bourne was born on 5 October 1902.2 He was the son of Colonel Walter Kemp Bourne and Evelyn Frances Carre-Smith.3 He married Agnes Evelyn Thompson, daughter of Sir Ernest Thompson, on 10 July 1928.3 He died on 26 June 1982 at age 79.2
