     Anne Burton is the daughter of Sir Thomas Burton, 1st Bt. and Philippa Brooke.1 She married Sir Abel Barker, 1st Bt., son of Abel Barker and Elizabeth Wright, before 1648.1
     From before 1648, her married name became Barker.1

     Sir Thomas Burton, 1st Bt. was the son of John Burton and Anne Digby.2 He married Philippa Brooke, daughter of Sir Henry Brooke and Anne Sutton.2 He married, secondly, Anne Reynolds, daughter of Robert Reynolds, before 1618.2 He married, thirdly, Frances (?) circa 13 January 1644/45.2 He died circa August 1655.2 He was buried on 4 September 1655 at Stockerston, Leicestershire, EnglandG.2
     He matriculated at Lincoln College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, on 10 October 1597.2 He was appointed Knight on 5 October 1605 at Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, by the Lord Deputy [Ireland].2 He was created 1st Baronet Burton, of Stockerston, co. Leicester [England] on 22 July 1622.2 He held the office of Sheriff of Leicestershire from 1633 to 1634.2

     Philippa Brooke was the daughter of Sir Henry Brooke and Anne Sutton.1,2 She married, secondly, Sir Thomas Burton, 1st Bt., son of John Burton and Anne Digby.2 She married, firstly, Walter Calverley.2 She died circa September 1613, without issue.2 She was buried on 28 September 1613 at Stockeston, Leicestershire, EnglandG.2
     Her married name became Burton.2 Her married name became Calverley.2

     Sir Thomas Barker, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1648.1 He was the son of Sir Abel Barker, 1st Bt. and Anne Burton.1 He died circa March 1706/7, without surviving male issue.1 He was buried on 22 March 1706/7 at Lyndon, Rutland, EnglandG.1 His will was proven (by probate) in November 1708.1
     He held the office of Sheriff of Rutland from 1670 to 1671.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Barker, of Hambleton, Rutland [E., 1665] in September 1679.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Rutland from 1680 to 1681.1 He lived at Hambledon, Rutland, EnglandG.1 He lived at Lyndon, Rutland, EnglandG.1
     On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.1

     Sir William Barker, 1st Bt. was born circa 1652.1 He was the son of William Barker and Martha Turner.1 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Alexander, daughter of Sir Jerome Alexander and Elizabeth Havers, on 23 June 1676, with an estate of £1500 per year.1 He married, secondly, Letitia (?) on 11 November 1702.1 He died from August 1717 to November 1719.1 His will (dated 11 November 1710 to 6 January 1710/1) was proven (by probate) on 13 November 1719.1 His will (dated 21 August 1717) was proven (by probate) on 10 December 1742.1
     He was admitted to Gray's Inn on 12 July 1670.1 He was created 1st Baronet Barker, of Bockinghall [in Bocking], co. Essex [England] on 29 March 1676.1 He lived at Bockinghall, Bocking, Essex, EnglandG.1 He lived at Curraghmore, County Limerick, IrelandG.1 He mortgaged the Bocking estate, and emigrated to Ireland.1
