     Sir David Balfour is the son of Sir Michael Balfour of Denmylne and Joanna Durham.1
     He had two sons, but the lines of each ended in daughters.1 He lived at ForretG.1

     Sir Andrew Balfour was born circa 1630.1 He was the son of Sir Michael Balfour of Denmylne and Joanna Durham.1 He married Anne Napier.1 He died on 10 January 1692, without male issue.1
     He was a phyiscian and botanist.1

     Sir Peter Ball was born circa 1599.1 He died circa August 1680.1 He was buried on 4 September 1680 at Mamhead, Devon, EnglandG.1
     He was appointed Knight on 7 October 1642 at Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He was created 1st Baronet Ball, of Mamhead, co. Devon [England] on 22 July 1672, however this creation appears to have never passed the Great Seal, and neither Peter nor his sons used the title.1 He lived at Mamhead, Devon, EnglandG.1

     Marcus Gervais de la Poer Beresford was born circa 1847 at County Fermanagh, IrelandG.1 He was the son of Reverend George Hamilton de la Poer Beresford and Elizabeth Nisbet.1 He married Elizabeth Anne Scott circa 1870.1 He died on 24 January 1883 at McKinlay Range, Queensland, AustraliaG, murdered by 'the Blacks'.1
     He emigrated to Queensland, AustraliaG, arriving on 1881.1
