He married, secondly, Elizabeth Mary Barlow, daughter of unknown Barlow, in 1870.2 He died circa 1878, from pneumonia and congestion.2 His will (dated with £140,000) was probated.2 He was buried at Mount Jerome Cemetery, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.2
