Sir Elliot Philipson Philipson-Stow, 2nd Bt. was born on 12 July 1876.2 He was the son of Sir Frederic Samuel Philipson Philipson-Stow, 1st Bt. and Florence Henchman Hewitt.2 He married Edith Maud Gore Pery-Knox-Gore, daughter of Edmond Henry Cockayne Pery-Knox-Gore and Sarah Jane Knox-Gore, on 5 October 1904.2 He died on 23 September 1954 at age 78.2
He fought in the Boer War.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant between 1900 and 1902 in the 14th Hussars.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Philipson-Stow, of Lodsworth, Sussex [U.K., 1907] on 17 May 1908.3,2 He fought in the First World War.2
