Sir Robert Dundas, 1st Bt. 2
     Sir Robert Dundas, 1st Bt. was born on 30 June 1761.3 He married Matilda Cockburn, daughter of Archibald Cockburn and Janet Rennie, on 13 July 1798 at St. Cuthbert's, Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.3 He died on 4 January 1835 at age 73 at Heriot Row, Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.3
     He was created 1st Baronet Dundas.1 He held the office of Clerk of Session.3 He was Deputy to the Lord Privy Seal.3

     Matilda Cockburn was born on 7 February 1772 at Cockpen, Midlothian, ScotlandG.2 She was the daughter of Archibald Cockburn and Janet Rennie.2 She married Sir Robert Dundas, 1st Bt. on 13 July 1798 at St. Cuthbert's, Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.2 She died in 1842.1
     From 13 July 1798, her married name became Dundas.1

     From 31 January 1889, her married name became Bickmore.1

     He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Major in 1918 in the 17th (Loyal Regiment), Indian Army.1

     Sir Robert W. M. Dundas, 6th Bt. was born on 31 October 1881.1 He was the son of Sir George Whyte Melville Dundas, 5th Bt. and Matilda Louisa Mary Wilson.1 He married Dorothea Wiseman, daughter of A. W. Wiseman, in 1936.1 He died on 10 October 1981 at age 99, without issue.1
     He was educated at Trinity College, Glenalmond, Perthshire, ScotlandG.1 He was educated at Keble College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He was an administrative officer between 1911 and 1930 at NigeriaG.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Dundas, of Beechwood in 1934.1
