     Jack Proby Armstrong was born on 27 May 1878.1 He was the son of Montagu Fullerton Armstrong and Florence Angelica Sophia Proby.1 He married Maria Dominga Alvarenga Molina, daughter of John Molina, on 25 October 1912.1 He died on 21 February 1953 at age 74.1
     He held the office of Consul to Tegucigalpa in 1911.1 He was Acting 1st Secretary of Legation to Guatemala between 1919 and 1920.1

     Lt.-Cdr. Montagu John Proby Armstrong was born on 7 November 1913 at Tegucigalpa, Honduras.1,2 He was the son of Jack Proby Armstrong and Maria Dominga Alvarenga Molina.1 He died on 14 December 1984 at age 71 at Guatemala City, GuatemalaG.1,2
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Merton College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.) in 1942.1

     Martha Florence Armstrong was born on 16 November 1921.1 She is the daughter of Jack Proby Armstrong and Maria Dominga Alvarenga Molina.1 She married, firstly, Elmer Page Madsen in 1944.1 She and Elmer Page Madsen were divorced in 1956.1 She married, secondly, James Worth Thornton, son of Sir Henry Worth Thornton, in 1958.1
     From 1944, her married name became Madsen.1 From 1958, her married name became Thornton.1
