     Andrew Armstrong was born on 2 March 1729.1 He was the son of Edmund Armstrong and Elizabeth Holmes.1 He married Constance Maria Pigot, daughter of John Pigot and Constance Maria Burgoyne, in 1752.1
     Andrew Armstrong held the office of High Sheriff of King's County in 1751.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Volunteers.1 He lived at Gallen, County Offaly, Ireland.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for King's County.1

     Edmund Armstrong was the son of William Armstrong and Alice Coghlan.1 He married Elizabeth Holmes, daughter of George Holmes, in 1722.1 He died on 15 April 1745.1
     Edmund Armstrong held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1 He held the office of High Sheriff of King's County in 1730.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Kildare in 1731.1 He lived at Gallen, County Offaly, Ireland.1

     William Armstrong was born circa 1638.1 He was the son of Edmund Armstrong and Mary Hamilton.1 He married Alice Coghlan, daughter of Francis Coghlan.1 He died in 1717/18.1

     Edmund Armstrong is the son of Andrew Armstrong and Elizabeth Johnson.1 He married Mary Hamilton, daughter of William Hamilton.1
     Edmund Armstrong lived at Stonestown, County Kildare, Ireland.1 In 1641 a Royalist.1 He fought in the Battle of Worcester in 1651, and taken prisoner.1
     He had five other sons and two daughters.1

     Andrew Armstrong was born circa 1576.1 He married, firstly, unknown Alexander.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Johnson.1 He married, thirdly, Jane (?) circa 1649.1 He died in 1671.1
     Circa 1600 he migrated from Scotland to Northern Ireland.1 He was a Royalist in 1641.1 He gained the rank of officer in 1641 in the service of the horse, under King Charles I.1 He lived at County Fermanagh, Ireland.1
