     Elizabeth Fountaine Walker was born circa 1857 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.2 She was the daughter of Fountaine Walker.1 She married Hugh Lyttleton Arbuthnot, son of John Alves Arbuthnot and Mary Arbuthnot, on 25 September 1879.1 She died on 21 April 1920.1
     From 25 September 1879, her married name became Arbuthnot.1 She was invested as a Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1920.1
