     Sir Thomas Allen, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1648.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Allen, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Birch.1 He married Elizabeth Angell.1 He died on 10 June 1730, without surviving issue.1 He was buried at Totteridge, London, EnglandG.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Allen, of Totteridge, Middlesex [E., 1660] on 15 December 1690.1
     On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.1

     Admiral Sir Thomas Allin, 1st Bt. was born circa 1613.1 He was the son of Robert Allin.1 He married, firstly, Alice Whiting, daughter of Captain W. Whiting.3 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Anguish, daughter of Thomas Anguish, on 3 July 1682.3 He died circa September 1685.1 He was buried on 5 October 1685 at Somerleyton, Suffolk, EnglandG.3
     He purchased the estate of Somerleyton, Suffolk.1 He held the office of Comptroller of the Navy.1 He gained the rank of Captain in 1665 in the Royal Navy, in command of H.M.S. The Old James.1 He was appointed Knight on 24 September 1665.1 He held the office of Captain of Sandgate Castle.1 He was created 1st Baronet Allin, of Blundeston, co. Suffolk [England] on 7 February 1672/73.1 He gained the rank of Admiral in the Straits.1

     Sir Thomas Allin, 2nd Bt. was the son of Admiral Sir Thomas Allin, 1st Bt. and Alice Whiting.1 He married Mary Caldwell, daughter of John Caldwell, in 1672.1 He died in October 1696, without issue.1 He died intestate and his estate was administered on 10 November 1696.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Winwick between November 1678 and July 1679.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Allin, of Blundeston, co. Suffolk [E., 1673] circa September 1685, and then 'of Somerleyton, co. Suffolk.1' He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Winwick between January 1689 and February 1689.1

     Mary Caldwell was the daughter of John Caldwell.1 She married Sir Thomas Allin, 2nd Bt., son of Admiral Sir Thomas Allin, 1st Bt. and Alice Whiting, in 1672.1 She died between August 1699 and September 1699.1 Her will was proven (by probate) on 20 September 1699.1
     From 1672, her married name became Allin.1 Her last will was dated 23 August 1699.
