     Tessa Charlotte Aitchison was born in 1982.¹ She is the daughter of Sir Charles Walter De Lancey Aitchison, 4th Bt. and Susan Ellis.¹

     Major Sir Stephen Charles De Lancey Aitchison, 3rd Bt. was born on 10 March 1923.¹ He was the son of Sir Walter De Lancey Aitchison, 2nd Bt. and Sheena Lennox Fraser.¹ He married Elizabeth Anne Milburn Reed, daughter of Lt.-Col. Edward Reed, on 2 September 1950.¹ He died on 12 May 1958 at age 35.¹
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at University College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the 13th/18th Hussars (Queen Mary's Own.)¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Aitchison, of Lemmington, Northumberland [U.K., 1938] on 14 October 1953.¹

     Sir Walter De Lancey Aitchison, 2nd Bt. was born on 14 May 1892.¹ He was the son of Sir Stephen Harry Aitchison, 1st Bt. and Alice Mary Willson.^1,2 He married Sheena Lennox Fraser, daughter of Charles Lennox Fraser, on 18 April 1922.¹ He died on 14 October 1953 at age 61.¹
     He graduated from University College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.)¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Aitchison, of Lemmington, Northumberland [U.K., 1938] on 26 August 1942.¹

     Reverend Henry Milner Sharples married Henrietta Maria Orde-Powlett, daughter of Rev. Hon. Thomas Orde-Powlett and Elizabeth Jane Wyvill, on 3 October 1893.¹ He died on 14 December 1919.¹
     He was the Rector at Fingall, Yorkshire, England^G.¹

     John Gordon Aitchison was the son of John Aitchison and Agnes Gordon.² He married Elizabeth Thompson.² He died on 2 May 1896.²
     He lived at Devizes, Wiltshire, England^G.¹

     Alice Mary Willson was the daughter of Walter de Lancey Willson.¹ She married Sir Stephen Harry Aitchison, 1st Bt., son of John Gordon Aitchison and Elizabeth Thompson, on 2 June 1891.¹ She died on 8 April 1932.¹
     From 2 June 1891, her married name became Aitchison.¹

     Walter de Lancey Willson held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Kirklinton Park, Cumberland, England^G.¹

     Eveline Betty Sutherland was the daughter of William Tudor Sutherland.¹ She married, firstly, Lieutenant Arthur Walter Forbes, son of Captain William Balfour Forbes and Helen Arabella Persse, on 5 September 1917.² She married, secondly, Commander John Gordon Aitchison, son of Sir Stephen Harry Aitchison, 1st Bt. and Alice Mary Willson, on 31 October 1919.¹ She died on 16 July 1961.¹
     From 5 September 1917, her married name became Forbes.² From 31 October 1919, her married name became Aitchison.¹

     William Tudor Sutherland is the son of Evan Charles Sutherland.²

     Lieutenant Arthur Walter Forbes was born on 5 May 1892.² He was the son of Captain William Balfour Forbes and Helen Arabella Persse.² He married Eveline Betty Sutherland, daughter of William Tudor Sutherland, on 5 September 1917.² He died in March 1918 at age 25, lost at sea on active service.²
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy.² He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1917.²
