Sir Charles Adams, 4th Bt. was born circa 1665 at Isleham, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He was the son of Sir William Adams, 2nd Bt. and Anne Rushout.1 He married Frances Rolle, daughter of Sir Francis Rolle and Priscilla Foote, on 10 June 1693 at St. James's, Westminster, London, England.1 He died on 12 August 1726, without issue.1 He was buried at Ealing, Middlesex, England.1 His will (dated 12 August 1726) was probated on 14 July 1729.1
Sir Charles Adams, 4th Bt. was educated at Norwich School, Norwich, Norfolk, England.1 He matriculated at Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1683.1 He graduated from Cambridge University in 1686/87 with the degree of Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He graduated from Cambridge University in 1690 with the degree of Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He succeeded to the title of 4th Baronet Adams, of Sprowston Hall, Norfolk [E., 1660] in August 1690.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Norfolk from 1693 to 1694.1

Frances Rolle was born circa 1675.1 She was the daughter of Sir Francis Rolle and Priscilla Foote.1 She married Sir Charles Adams, 4th Bt., son of Sir William Adams, 2nd Bt. and Anne Rushout, on 10 June 1693 at St. James's, Westminster, London, England.1 She died before 1724.1
