     Vere Murielle Cecily Idina Somerset was born on 14 January 1912.1 She is the daughter of Vere Edward Somerset and Gladys Mildred Baker.1 She married, firstly, F/Lt. Dudley Scorgie, son of Robert Lind Scorgie, on 11 April 1934.1 She married, secondly, Captain Alan Abraham in 1959.1 She and Captain Alan Abraham were divorced in 1978.1
     From 11 April 1934, her married name became Scorgie.1 From 1959, her married name became Abraham.1 On 1978 her name was legally changed to Somerset.1
