     Cindy Karch is the daughter of Brig.-Gen. Frederick Joseph Karch.1 She married Peter John Acland, son of Maj.-Gen. Sir John Hugh Bevil Acland and Myrtle Christian Euing Crawford, after 1990.1
      From after 1990, her married name became Acland.1

     Brig.-Gen. Frederick Joseph Karch was born on 9 August 1917 at Carmi, Illinois, U.S.A..2 He died on 23 May 2009 at age 91.2
     He graduated from U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, Maryland, U.S.A., in 1940.2 He fought in the Second World War.2 He was decorated with the award of the Bronze Star.2 He was decorated with the award of the Legion of Merit.2 He fought in the Vietnam War.2 He gained the rank of Brigadier-General in the service of the U.S. Marine Corps.3
