     Simon Thomas Scrope was baptised on 17 April 1790.2 He was the son of Simon Thomas Scrope and Catherine Dorothy Meynell.1 He married Mary Jones, daughter of John Jones and Harriett Plunkett, on 25 June 1821.2 He died on 1 October 1872 at age 82.2

     Simon Thomas Scrope was born on 27 April 1822 at Danby Hall, Danby, Yorkshire, England.2,3 He was the son of Simon Thomas Scrope and Mary Jones.2 He was baptised at Llanarth, Monmouthshire, Wales.2 He married Emily Jane Berkeley, daughter of Robert Berkeley and Henrietta Sophia Benfield, on 31 October 1855.1 He died on 4 March 1896 at age 73.1
     Simon Thomas Scrope lived at Danby Hall, Yorkshire, England.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).2
