     From 2 January 1872, her married name became Borthwick.1 On 8 February 1913 she was granted the rank of Dame, as a Baron's wife.1

     Charlotte Goulding was born circa 1776.2,3 She was the daughter of unknown Goulding and Phillis Smith.1 She married, firstly, Richard Barry, 7th Earl of Barrymore, son of Richard Barry, 6th Earl of Barrymore and Lady Amelia Stanhope, circa 7 June 1792.1 She married, secondly, Captain Robert Williams on 22 September 1794.1
     After her marriage, Charlotte Goulding was styled as Countess of Barrymore circa 7 June 1792. From circa 7 June 1792, her married name became Barry.1 From 22 September 1794, her married name became Williams.2
