Sidonia Elisabeth zu Salm-Reifferscheidt was born on 6 September 1623 at Cologne, Germany.1,2 She was the daughter of Ernst Friedrich Altgraf zu Salm-Reifferscheidt and Maria Ursula zu Leiningen-Dagsburg.1,2 She married Hartmann Fürst von und zu Liechtenstein, son of Gundakar Prinz von Liechtenstein, in 1640.1 She died on 23 September 1688 at age 65 at Vienna, Austria.1,2

Ernst Friedrich Altgraf zu Salm-Reifferscheidt was born on 29 May 1583.2 He was the son of Werner Altgraf zu Salm-Reifferscheidt and Anna Maria Gräfin von Limburg-Styrum.2 He married Maria Ursula zu Leiningen-Dagsburg on 12 June 1616.2 He died on 13 September 1639 at age 56.2
