He married, firstly, Natalie de Ligne, Princesse de Ligne in 1853. He married, secondly, Eleonore Prinzessin zu Salm-Salm, daughter of Franz Joseph Friedrich Philipp Prinz zu Salm-Salm and Marie Josephine Sophie Prinzessin zu Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg, in 1884. He died in 1902.
     Rudolf Maximilian Konstantin Herzog von Croÿ succeeded to the title of 11th Herzog von Croÿ in 1861.1
