     Helen Ewing was the daughter of Alexander Crum Ewing.1 She married Lt.-Col. John Winston Thomas Munro-Spencer, son of Lt.-Col. Hon. George Augustus Spencer and Charlotte Munro, on 31 October 1899.1 She died on 27 March 1919.1
     From 31 October 1899, her married name became Spencer. From 1911, her married name became Munro-Spencer.

John Winston Thomas Munro-Spencer and Synolda Ellen Le Petit Butler.1 He married Phyllis Margaret Rivers, daughter of Charles Richard Rivers, on 17 July 1912.1 He and Phyllis Margaret Rivers were divorced in 1928.1 He died on 16 March 1960 at age 74.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 4th Battalion, Seaforth Highlanders.2 He lived at Teaninich, Alness, Ross-shire, ScotlandG.2

     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1
