     Sir William Wellesley was born after 1443.1 He was the son of Christopher Wellesley.2 He married Ismay Plunkett, daughter of Sir Thomas Plunkett, before 1497.1 He married Meadhbh O'Toole before 3 May 1497.1 He died on 29 April 1502.1
     In 1497 he sold Pollardstown to the Earl of Kildare.1 He lived at Dangan, Ireland.1
