Kenneth Perkins was born on 15 August 1926.2 He was the son of George Samuel Perkins and Arabella Sarah Wise.2 He married, firstly, Anne Theresa Barry in 1949.2 He and Anne Theresa Barry were divorced in 1984.2 He married, secondly, Celia Mary Sandys, daughter of Edwin Duncan Sandys, Baron Duncan-Sandys and Diana Spencer-Churchill, in 1985.1 He died on 23 October 2009 at age 83.2
     He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross (D.F.C.) in 1953.1 He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1955.1 He was Commander of the Sultan's Armed Forces, Oman between 1975 and 1977.2 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1977.1
