Reverend Frederick Augustus Morland Spencer was born on 23 July 1878.1 He was the son of Reverend Charles Vere Spencer and Emma Frederica à Court Gray.1 He married Gertrude Lucie Burke, daughter of George John Burke, on 3 June 1913.1 He died on 28 September 1962 at age 84.1
Reverend Frederick Augustus Morland Spencer was educated at Bradfield School, England.1 He was educated at Brasenose College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He graduated from Oxford University in 1901 with the degree of B.A.1 He graduated from Oxford University in 1902 with the degree of M.A.1 He gained the rank of Chaplain between 1914 and 1918 in the service of the Australian Imperial Forces.1 He graduated from Oxford University in 1929 with the degree of Doctor of Divinity (D.D.).1 He was the Chaplain between 1929 and 1934 at Brasenose College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He was the Rector between 1935 and 1948 at Great Rollwright, Oxfordshire, England.1 He wrote the book Human Ideals, The Ethics of the Gospel, Civilisation Remade by Christ, The Theory of Christ's Ethics and the Future of Life.1
