     Alice Mary Franklyn was born on 25 June 1826 at Clifton, Gloucestershire, England.1 She was the daughter of George Woodroffe Franklyn and Mary Jane Arden.1 She married Captain John Sanderson, son of Edward Sanderson and Harriot Hales, on 15 January 1857 at Leamington Parish Church, Leamington, Warwickshire, England.1 She died on 25 November 1904 at age 78 at 40 Marine Parade, Brighton, Sussex, England.1
     From 15 January 1857, her married name became Sanderson.1
