     John Arnold Cuthbert Quilter was born on 24 January 1875.¹ He was the son of Sir William Cuthbert Quilter, 1st Bt. and Mary Anne Bevington.¹ He died on 6 May 1915 at age 40 at Dardanelles, killed in action.¹
