Samuel Grubb was born on 12 May 1750.1 He was the son of Joseph Grubb and Sarah Greer.2 He married Margaret Shackleton, daughter of Richard Shackleton and Elizabeth Fuller, on 18 April 1776.1 He died on 10 August 1815 at age 65.1
He was educated at Ballitore Quaker Boys' School, Ballitore, County Kildare, Ireland.1 He was a miller and corn merchant.1 He lived at Clonmel, County Tipperary, Ireland.1 He lived at Clashleigh, County Tipperary, Ireland.1 He lived at Cooleville, Clogheen, County Tipperary, Ireland.1
