     Lucia Cary is the daughter of Lucius Ferdinand Cary, Master of Falkland and Anna Maria Leith.1 She married Lt.-Col. John Grattan on 10 January 1783.1
     From 10 January 1783, her married name became Grattan.1

     Hon. Emma Amelia Cary was born circa 1849 at Bath, Somerset, England.2 She was the daughter of Captain Hon. Byron Charles Ferdinand Plantagenet Cary and Selina Mary Fox.1 She married Thomas Benyon Ferguson, son of Thomas Ferguson and Emma Benyon, on 8 March 1869.1 She died on 2 December 1931.1
     From 8 March 1869, her married name became Ferguson.1 On 29 September 1886 she was granted the rank of a viscount's daughter.1
