     He held the office of Crown Solicitor for Queen's County.1 He lived at Thornbury, County Laois, IrelandG.1

     Catherine Blood was born on 14 March 1812.1 She was the daughter of Captain Neptune Blood and Anne Anthony.1 She married Lieutenant Thomas Blood, son of Richard Blood, on 7 May 1853 in a childless marriage.1 She died in May 1872 at age 60.1
     Catherine Blood also went by the nick-name of Kitty of Ballykilty.1

Lieutenant Thomas Blood1,2

     Lieutenant Thomas Blood was born on 20 September 1790.2 He was the son of Richard Blood.2 He married, firstly, Mary Cooke on 14 January 1819 in a childless marriage.2 He married, secondly, Catherine Blood, daughter of Captain Neptune Blood and Anne Anthony, on 7 May 1853 in a childless marriage.1 He died on 26 December 1856 at age 66.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 6th Regiment.2 He fought in the Peninsular Wars.2 He fought in the Battle of Orthez, during which he was severely wounded.2 He lived at Fantore, Ennistymon, County Clare, IrelandG.1
