     Sir Richard Cox, 4th Bt. was the son of Sir Michael Cox, 3rd Bt. and Hon. Elizabeth Massy. He married Mary O'Brien, daughter of Edward O'Brien and Mary Carrick.1 He died on 17 September 1783, accidentally drowned.
     He gained the title of 4th Baronet Cox.

     James Ogilvy, 3rd of Deskford and Findlater was the son of Sir James Ogilvy, 2nd of Deskford and Findlater and Margaret Innes.2 He married Lady Agnes Gordon, daughter of George Gordon, 2nd Earl of Huntly and Lady Elizabeth Hay.1 He died on 1 February 1505/6.3

     He inherited the Westmorland and Chester estates of his brother-in-law, Ranulph le Meschin, when the latter became Earl of Chester.1 He was also known as Robert d'Estrivers.1
