     Walter George Donnington Hungerford was born on 8 March 1911 at London, Ontario, Canada.^1,2 He was the son of Walter Francis Hugh Watson Hungerford and Maud Margaret Maclaren.¹ He married Elizabeth Amelia Anne Piers Dumas, daughter of Gerald Piers Dumas, on 9 March 1940.¹ He died on 26 January 2003 at age 91 at Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.²
