     Charles Rowland Clegg-Hill, 6th Viscount Hill of Hawkestone and of Hardwicke was born on 5 May 1876 at Hawkstone Hall, Hodnet, Shropshire, EnglandG.2 He was the son of Rowland Clegg-Hill, 3rd Viscount Hill of Hawkestone and of Hardwicke and Hon. Isabella Elizabeth Wynn.2,3 He married, firstly, Mildred Bulteel, daughter of Thomas Bulteel and Margaret Jane Augusta Cork, on 6 January 1903.1 He married, secondly, Berthe Maria Emilie Schmidt-Immer, daughter of Alphonse Schmidt-Immer, on 18 January 1936.1 He died on 3 May 1957 at age 80.1
     He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902, and was mentioned in despatches twice and was wounded.1 He gained the rank of Major and Brevet Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Welch Fusiliers.1 He fought in the First World War, and was mentioned in despatches and was wounded.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1 He was awarded the Croix de Guerre with Silver Star.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baron Hill of Almarez and of Hardwicke, co. Salop. [U.K., 1816] on 6 July 1924.1 He succeeded as the 6th Viscount Hill of Hawkestone and of Hardwicke, co. Salop. [U.K., 1842] on 6 July 1924.1 He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Hill [G.B., 1727] on 6 July 1924.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Shropshire.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Shropshire.1

Arthur Reginald Clegg-Hill was born on 15 June 1877 at Hawkstone Hall, Hodnet, Shropshire, EnglandG.2 He was the son of Rowland Clegg-Hill, 3rd Viscount Hill of Hawkestone and of Hardwicke and Hon. Isabella Elizabeth Wynn.2,3 He married Evelyn Hilda Sinclair Bell, daughter of Reverend William Charles Bell, on 4 July 1905.1 He died on 18 September 1918 at age 41, killed in action.1
     He fought in the Boer War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 3rd Battalion, Cheshire Regiment.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1 He fought in the First World War, and was mentioned in despatches three times.1 He was Acting Lieutenant-Colonel of the 2nd Battalion, Cheshire Regiment.1 He was awarded the Croix de Guerre avec Palmes.1

Isabella Elizabeth Wynn.2,3 She married Justinian John Edwards-Heathcote, son of Captain Justinian Heathcote Edwards-Heathcote, on 28 June 1905.1 She died on 13 January 1940 at age 59, without issue.1
     From 28 June 1905, her married name became Edwards-Heathcote.

     Margaret Antonia Mitchell-Carruthers was the daughter of Reverend William Mitchell-Carruthers and Antonia Holden.1 She married Hercules Edward Rowley, 4th Baron Langford of Summerhill, son of Clotworthy Wellington William Robert Rowley, 3rd Baron Langford of Summerhill and Louisa Augusta Conolly, on 20 November 1915.1 She died on 9 November 1976.1
     After her marriage, Margaret Antonia Mitchell-Carruthers was styled as Baroness Langford of Summerhill on 20 November 1915. From 20 November 1915, her married name became Rowley.1
