     From 31 October 1901, her married name became Macleay.1

     Sir James William Ronald Macleay was the son of Colonel Alexander Caldcleugh MacLeay.1 He married Evelyn Emily Peel, daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir Robert Peel, 3rd Bt. and Lady Emily Hay, on 31 October 1901.1 He died on 5 March 1943.1
     He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of St. Michael and St. George (G.C.M.G.)1 Sir James William Ronald Macleay usually went by his middle name of Ronald.1

Sir Robert Peel, 3rd Bt. and Lady Emily Hay.1 She married, firstly, Daniel van de Heydt on 22 November 1894.1 She married, secondly, Arthur Gilstrap Soames, son of Arthur Soames and Anna Amelia Gilstrap, on 25 June 1919.1 She died on 6 February 1964.1
     From 22 November 1894, her married name became van de Heydt.1 From 25 June 1919, her married name became Soames.1
